lumipopOh, Sam, I don’t even know where to begin. I’m not the best with words and get overly sappy, so please don’t laugh at me, wherever you are. It’s been a long week since you passed and I still can’t believe you’re gone. I keep hoping it’s some type of sick joke. You were so so so perfect in every way. You always had this amazing ability to make everyone laugh whether it was from your jokes, your quick wit or those wild, out-of-pocket comments. The best part was when you laughed at your own jokes, which somehow made them 10x funnier. 🤣 You were so thoughtful, even from the very first day we met. I still remember how you gave me all those items because, as you put it, “lumi, noob chic isn’t in.” 😂 And all those times you’d randomly invite me to hang out or tip me, just because I was still finding my footing on Highrise. Honestly, you’re one of the biggest reasons I’m still here today. We’ve talked about meeting up whenever I’d visit the OC. I’m so sad we’ll never get that chance. Even though we won’t get to make those plans a reality, I’ll carry you with me in everything I do. You’ve left a mark on so many lives, bigger than I think you ever realized. The world will never be the same again. Thank you for being you, for your humor, your generosity, and the way you made your friends and family feel special. I’ll never forget you, Sam.
