Crews V2 Update

Highrise

May 25, 2026

Highrise has always been defined by its community. Whether it’s events, hanging out, or simply showing up with friends, the best moments are the ones you share together.

Crews were meant to be at the heart of that experience, but today they don’t always feel as central as they could be.

This update changes that. We’re giving Crews a massive update so they can become a real social anchor in Highrise. This update is about making Crews play together, compete together, and build a legacy they can be proud of. :pinching_hand:

Finding the right Crew

Right now, finding the right Crew comes down to luck or knowing the right people. We’re completely redesigning the Crew Discovery experience to help you find a Crew that actually matches how you play.

You can see how active Crews are, see their event history, and get tailored recommendations based on how you actually play.

Show off what your Crew can do

Anyone checking out your Crew can see your top players, how active your crew is in real-time, and your past event history.

We’re also Crew Profiles a massive visual upgrade with brand new emblems and backgrounds, so you can better showcase their unique identity and personality. :sparkles:

Whether your Crew is competitive, social, casual, or somewhere in-between, your Crew profile should help tell that story.

Build something that lasts

Right now, a crew’s performance resets each Event. You do well in an event, and then it’s gone.

With Seasons, that changes.

Event results turn into trophies that build up over time. The more your Crew shows up and performs, the stronger your record becomes.

When players look at a Crew’s profile, it becomes a history of what the Crew has achieved together. :trophy:

Stay connected with your Crew

Keeping up with your Crew shouldn’t be a challenge.

We’re adding clearer activity and communication surfaces so you can stay in sync more effortlessly.

You’ll be able to see updates at a glance, catch up on contributions, and track milestones without needing to ask around.

For more intentional moments like pinning announcements or rallying the team before an event, Crews can now use Posts.

More tools to manage a Crew

To help teams run smoothly, Crew leaders are getting a lot more flexibility.

If you run a Crew, you can now create custom roles with specific permissions, set minimum event requirements, and manage members who don’t meet them.

This gives Crews clearer expectations, better organisation, and more ways to run the Crew in a way that fits their goals.

This is just the beginning

This update doesn’t replace the existing event experience.

It adds a layer for players who want more. More competition, more coordination, more of a reason to come back every week with the same group of people.

Crews have always been part of Highrise. This is about making them more structured, more visible, and more connected to Events.

If you have thoughts, questions, or things you want us to know, come find us in the community.

See you in Highrise!
