Autumn Academia

Welcome to the spookiest fashion show you'll find in this life and the one that comes after! Full of items as tasty and varied as the candy you'll collect on Halloween, #TricksNTreats is the peak of haunting attire 👻🍬

For seasoned fashionistas, you'll notice a few changes to your eventing experience:

🎃 In this Style Challenge, 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Don't worry! Event auras will still count for your boost, even if they're as invisible as a Boo Bud.

🎃 The event has been rebalanced for a more fair progression and ranking experience for all eventers! While you'll receive more consistent ticket payouts and rewards for every time you vote in the Style Challenge, Boost for the #DeadlyTricks grab has been rebalanced to account for this change.
Instead of the Crew Meter, we redistributed Lucky Tokens throughout your Progress Rewards for a more even boost progression for everyone.
And, to ensure that you can more easily access the items you want during the competition, Progress Rewards will be Account Bound for this event.

Visit us on Discord in the #highrise-feedback channels to share your thoughts! Your feedback goes a long way in helping our team get the insight we need to build better events. 💖

Tricks and Treats 2024

Can't stay away from style? Neither can we. Come #BackToTheRunway for a gorgeous little mini-event this week, and collect community designed looks from the Artist's Lounge Concept! ✨🎨

 EARN STARBITS

#Starbits are magical tokens you can use in a unique collection! Gather StarBits in mini-events, and by subscribing to HR+.

 HOW TO PLAY FASHION RUNWAY

🧵 Talk to the Miss Cherie NPC to Share A Look for the runway! Your outfit will only be visible to other players in your current room.
There is NO prize, boost, or ticket payout associated with sharing your outfit! Just share your look to spice up the show, and use the heart button next to your ⚡ to send a bit of free, totally non-impactful love to any model currently on the runway 🫶

⚠️⚠️ Some features are in beta! Outfit submission previews are currently invisible for desktop and iPad users. However, you may still edit and share your look. Just be sure that you like your current fit before you submit!
Also, hair, skin, and eye colors aren't editable for any device . For this mini-event, all models will share default avatar colors.

🧵 Tap on the lightning button ⚡ on the center of your screen to start playing. On the runway, you'll see a spotlight appear alongside a random model.
Hold the ⚡ button to instruct the model on how far to walk down the runway; you'll earn tickets whenever they stop in the exact place the spotlight shone.

🧵 Get boost in the #ArtistsRunway grab!
https://high.rs/shop?type=gacha&id= 67432efe36af837ca86ddbfd

🧵 Your boost and energy are closely linked. Tap the small multiplier above your ⚡ button to increase your ticket payout boost; but beware! Each increment of boost will cost an additional unit of energy.
For example, if you tap the multiplier button to get 5x boost, you'll also consume 5 energy.

📅 The Runway will close on Thursday, November 28th, at 10 AM EST. See you on the catwalk!

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲

Over the last month, we made events much easier to complete—50% of participants now finish, compared to less than 1% before.
While this is a positive change, it has led to the 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗱 due to the high number being issued.
To address this, the 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗯𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝗕𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱.
In the future, we’ll update the participation track to better balance rewards, and the tradability of rewards in future events may change depending on those updates.
Additionally, we've amended the Individual Reward tiers to be more expansive for our top competitors! Here are the new ranks:
Rank 1-5
Rank 6-50 (updated from 6-25)
Rank 51-100 (updated from 26-100)
We’re committed to improving events for everyone and welcome your feedback on Discord or Canny.
Thank you! 💛
