A friendly guide to what HCC is, how Creatures and LAND came together, and the new Player Council that puts holders in the room where creative decisions get made.
The Highrise Creature Club is built from two collectible NFT concepts: 11,111 one-of-a-kind creature avatars and the Highrise LAND NFTs that were brought into the same club. Hold either one and you're a member, with perks woven right into Highrise.
Every item on your creature is yours to wear inside Highrise.
Earn coins daily to spin exclusive grabs only members can reach.
Early and free access to fresh creature content as it ships.
An exclusive club room and a real seat at the community table.
LAND NFTs are the club's collection of virtual parcels in the Highrise universe, in Standard and Premium tiers β and most LAND owners also have an adorable slime pet to go with their plot. LAND's original standalone plan changed, so the project was folded into the Creature Club family: owning LAND now makes you a member too.
Your pet stays yours β a collectible creature companion all its own.
Link a plot to a room to raise its capacity β 75 for Standard, 120 for Premium.
Premium LAND earns triple the Creature Coins of Standard, like Legendary creatures do.
LAND NFT owners now earn Creature Coins and join in club drops and giveaways.
No spin β just the honest arc of where the club has been and where it's headed.
HCC launches as Highrise's first collectible avatar project: programmatically generated creatures, each with a wearable set of items and a promise of perks for holders.
LAND launches as virtual parcels of the Highrise universe, in Standard and Premium tiers β with daily Land Tokens, room capacity boosts, an exclusive shop, and slime pets. The original dream: custom, monetizable corners of Highrise you could run yourself.
Lots of ambition across both projects, but consistency, communication and follow-through didn't meet the standard holders deserved. We heard the frustration loud and clear.
The original "custom monetizable Highrise" plan for LAND was wound down, and LAND owners were brought into Creature Club benefits. Land Tokens converted to Creature Coins, pets stayed with their owners, Premium LAND mirrored higher-tier Creature benefits at 3Γ, and a compensation path covered owners who did not want the new direction.
Regular updates confirmed the practical merge: Discord access opened to LAND owners, Highrise+ eligibility and Creature Coins applied to eligible players, exclusive LAND and Creature giveaways continued, and Gen 2 / shop work moved forward under one HCC update rhythm.
Creature Club publicly moved away from building around blockchain constraints while preserving tradeable value and official asset support. The message was simple: keep ownership safe, reduce platform friction, and make the club easier for Highrise to support.
A dedicated artist put permanently on finishing Gen 1 & Gen 2. Bi-weekly updates. Monthly shop refreshes. Quarterly drops. A clear commitment to communication, delivery, and rebuilding trust one update at a time.
The next step: a holder-led Player Council that helps shape what gets made β across Creatures and LAND alike. This page is all about that. π
Trust doesn't come back from promises β it comes from consistent delivery and from actually listening. The Council exists so HCC holders aren't just told what's coming next, but help decide it. It's a sounding board with real teeth on creative direction, run alongside the team that builds.
For a long time, Creatures and LAND lived as two separate NFT projects with two separate stories. The goal now is to unify them into a single Creature Club concept β one community, one set of benefits, one roadmap, and one holder voice.
Land Tokens became Creature Coins, so everyone earns and spends the same way.
Hold a Creature NFT or LAND NFT and you're a full member with the same core perks.
Drops, Gen 2 and shop updates serve the whole club, not two parallel tracks.
The Player Council represents Creature and LAND holders alike.
Your assets don't change β your creature, your LAND plot, and your slime pet stay exactly as they are. Unifying is about the experience around them: one family that's easier to grow, support and build for.
A small, holder-led group that works with a dedicated PM and the art team to finish Gen 2 and run the steady drops. It's advisory with teeth β a real say on creative, not a vote on the business.
Some calls the Council makes. Some it advises on. A few it's simply kept in the loop on β and that scope grows as it proves out.
Pocket Worlds stays the executor and keeps final say on anything touching the economy, brand or legal guardrails β so the things that protect the whole club stay protected.
Own at least 1 HCC asset, Creature or LAND, to vote; 5 combined HCC assets to run for a seat.
A Council seat is tied to you β never bought or traded, same spirit as the club itself.
A self-nomination window opens, then holders vote. Clean and open.
Six-month terms, max two in a row for elected seats. No entrenchment.
The PM owns the roadmap and brings the Council clear, scoped questions β each with a "done looks like this" attached. The Council weighs in on specific decisions, not endless open debate.
Cadence: a quick check-in every two weeks, plus a live call once a month. Where: a private holder channel to start, with token-gated holder-wide votes for the bigger questions down the line.
No. The Council is advisory β a powerful sounding board on creative and roadmap decisions. Pocket Worlds remains the executor and keeps final say on the business, the economy and the brand.
No. It's one holder, one vote β never weighted by how many Creature or LAND assets you own. And 4 of the 7 seats are elected directly by holders, with 3 appointed for continuity and competence. We're stating that split openly rather than pretending it's purely democratic.
A dedicated artist is on finishing them, and the Council helps decide which creatures and variants make each Gen 2 set β picking from the options the art team can actually build.
Yes. LAND owners are full Creature Club members. Your Land Tokens became Creature Coins, you earn daily Coins (Premium plots at 3Γ), and you take part in club drops and giveaways. Your plot and your slime pet stay exactly as they are.
Yes. Plans to migrate creatures off the blockchain have been cancelled following Steam approval. If that ever needs to change, we'll tell you early and clearly β no surprises.
It starts advisory-leaning, and its "Decides" power grows release by release as it proves out. Think training wheels that come off over time, not everything on day one.
